A New Path Taken

I wanted to take a moment to share a little bit about my journey and the exciting plans I have for my new website. You see, I’ve spent the early years of my career working hard and immersing myself in various skills. I was always up for a challenge and eager to try my hand at anything that came my way.

But, as life often does, it took me down a path where I ended up teaching photography for the past ten years. Don’t get me wrong—I absolutely love teaching and sharing my knowledge with others. However, in the process, I unintentionally let my own skill development take a backseat. It’s time to change that.

Practicing What I Teach

I firmly believe that in order to be an effective teacher, I need to practice what I teach. And so, I’ve come up with an exciting plan to reignite my own creativity and passion. I’m going back to basics and embracing the technique I use in my courses—project-based learning. After all, hands-on experience is the ultimate key to mastering any creative discipline.

I’ve crafted a series of carefully designed projects that will provide me with a structured learning environment while fostering my growth in the art of photography and other creative adventures I’m itching to explore.

Now, you might be thinking, “Is it too late to start again? Like, you’re old!”

Trust me when I say that I have NEVER asked myself that question. Ever.

Here’s the thing—I’ve been through this “starting over” process before, and each time, I’ve come out better than before. It’s a journey of continuous improvement, and I just need to trust the process and embrace the growth that comes with it.

So, let’s kick off this new chapter together, shall we? I invite you to join me on this exciting adventure as I dive back into my craft, rediscover my passion, and share the ups and downs of my artistic development. With your support and my unwavering determination, I’m confident that we’ll witness amazing progress along the way.

Here’s to embracing growth, pursuing our passions, and enjoying the journey together. Cheers!
